A Bit About Me

Hello, I’m Kaley, the heart behind Fairy Dogmothers.

If you’ve ever felt that little knot in your stomach when something seems “off” with your pet… you’re not alone. we’ve felt it too. The “what do I do right now?” - is exactly why I became a Pet First-Aid & CPCR instructor. Over the years, working hands-on with pets of all kinds - from energetic puppies to seniors with medical needs. I know how quickly situations can change. Most of the time, everything is perfectly fine. When it’s not, those first few moments matter more than people realize.

I didn’t pursue this just to add another certification to a list. I did it because I wanted to be the person who stays calm, thinks clearly, & knows how to help - not just for the pets in my care, but for their people, too. Now, I get to pass that on. These classes aren’t about turning you into a medical professional. They’re about giving you the confidence to pause, assess, & take that first step - instead of feeling helpless or panicked.

Whether you’re a pet pawrent, a pet professional, or just someone who loves animals deeply, you deserve to feel prepared - and your pets deserve someone who knows how to advocate for them in those moments.

From choking to poisoning emergencies, we cover the situations pet pawrents & caregivers are most likely to face.

Public Classes - $90/person

Private Pet First-Aid+CPCR Classes

Perfect for teams, workplaces, or groups who want a more personalized experience. Whether you have a doggy daycare, non-profit (we offer special offers to non-profit organizations), pet sitting small business, or a boarding facility, our private classes are for you!

Included in Private Classes:

On-site training

We come to you (depending on location), so your team learns in a familiar space. We bring everything to you, the only things we will need is an outlet for our projector, Wi-Fi, enough chairs for your group, & tables are convenient but not necessary.

Customized training for your environment

We tailor scenarios to fit what you actually deal with day-to-day. There are different ways to deal with certain situations depending on the environment. For example, if a pup were having a seizure, how we'd handle that at home is different compared to a doggy daycare. Team-focused discussions: We talk through protocols, communication, & what to do as a group in an emergency.

Flexible scheduling

Briefly describe your degree and any other highlights about your studies you want to share. Be sure to include relevant skills you gained, accomplishments you achieved or milestones you reached during your education.
