Policies & Procedures:
Meet & Greets
Meet & Greets (M&G) are required before any services will be provided. M&G typically last around 30 minutes & are $30 (which will be applied to your first invoice). They are the purrfect opportunity for you & us to determine if we are the best fit: M&G is only to be scheduled if you are truly intending on utilizing our services.
Bookings
Our availability is limited & is on a first come, first serve basis. Bookings do not go on our schedule until the following is completed: Time to Pet account activated, pawrent's & fur baby's completed, agreements signed, M&G completed & payment is made in full. We get booked months in advance, so we strongly suggest giving us as much notice as possible so we hopefully are able to accommodate.
Keys
We strongly suggest that you have two copies to provide us at the end of the M&G. If keys must be picked up & dropped off, there will be a $20 fee each time we must do such. If keyless entry is insisted upon, please be prepared that our hands are tied in the event of a malfunction, power outage, etc.
Team Approach
We are fortunate to have a lovely team! Who are all extensively experienced, highly vetted, fingerprint-based state & federal background check, trained, insured, bonded, pet first-aid/CPR certified, & carry pet first-aid kits on them. We pride ourselves in our team approach. If there is a specific Fairy Dogmother you prefer, the more notice you give us, the better chance they will be able to take care of your fur babies. We cannot guarantee the same Fairy Dogmother will be available every time but do not worry our whole team is wonderful.
Vaccinations
We require that all canine & feline fur babies be vaccinated against rabies & are treated against fleas & ticks. Your pet(s) is in manageable health & any/all conditions are being managed properly.
No Every-Other-Day Care
We do not offer "every-other-day" visits. Your fur babies need more care than that. So much can happen in that time.
Heat & Inclement Weather
Our #1 priority is to keep your pets safe and comfortable while in our care. If it is too hot/cold outside or we're experiencing inclement weather of other types (hail, storms, lightning, etc.), visits and routines will be modified to potty breaks & playtime inside. In case of snow, ice, etc., we will do our absolute best to make every visit on time. If bad weather is predicted while you are gone, we ask that you speak with your emergency contact(s) to ensure they are available, just in case. For our safety, please remove any snow, ice, and debris from all walkways & driveways before leaving. We would greatly appreciate it if significant snowfall is predicted if you would have someone ready to plow your driveway.
Time Blocks
Drop-in visits/Dog walking, Adventure hikes, & Farm care are provided within time blocks.
Morning- 8 am - 11 am
Afternoon 12 pm - 3 pm
Evening 3:30 pm - 9 pm
Guaranteed times go to those who require time-sensitive medications. We can usually make your preferred time work, but we cannot guarantee that it will always be the case.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy: Clients may cancel anytime they want, but our cancelation policy is: These dates & times are specifically being held for you and your pet(s). So please understand that we are turning down other clients/opportunities in order to accommodate your booking. If, for any reason, you must cancel or reduce the amount of care that is needed, be sure to get in touch with Kaley (our owner) asap. Fairy Dogmothers reserves the right to waive or adjust this policy on a case-by-case basis.
Cancellations for live-in care/drop-in visits/pet nanny are as follows: If the client provides at least 30 days' notice, then the client will get a 50% refund of their original payment. The exception to this is holiday visits; if you must cancel/reduce, no refund will be given, considering the demand for those times.

Weekly walking/adventure hike clients: if 7 days notice is given a full refund will be given. If this becomes a consistent issue, we have a right to change this policy, as our weekly walks are very limited.
